BodyLanguage RoCo's Youth Dance Company. Directed by Annie Rosenthal Parr and Daisy Stoloff, BodyLanguage is RoCo’s Youth Dance Company. They are a group of selected high school and middle school RoCo students that embody exceptional talent, potential and commitment to their training in modern, hip hop, ballet and jazz. This repertory company has the opportunity to work with a rotation of different choreographers to experience a range of genres and aesthetics. BodyLanguage performs through the school districts, festivals and community events. The mission of Bodylanguage is to prepare dancers for college dance programs and potential careers in dance. Our interest is to expose youth and the greater Marin community to contemporary dance, stimulate interest in the performing arts and for the audience to experience contemporary art in an accessible setting.

Dancers selected for BodyLanguage is by invitation. We do not hold auditions. We are looking for passionate and motivated dancers in modern, ballet, hip-hop and jazz. A minimum of four classes weekly and weekend rehearsals is required to participate in the group.
