Gabrielle Thompson is native of Sonoma County. She trained in classical ballet, jazz and modern throughout the United States and France receiving full scholarships from the Sarasota Ballet in Florida and the Nutmeg Ballet in Connecticut. She performed professionally with Ballet Counterpointe for several years along with various modern companies in the Bay Area.  Gabrielle has been a dance educator, choreographer, and director in both Sonoma and Marin counties for the past 15 years. As an honorary member of Dance Masters of America, she featured her choreography in state and national competitions.  Gabrielle has been teaching at Roco since 1998 and directs the dance program at Cardinal Newman High School where she creates 2 annual productions per year.
