Ashley received her pre-professional training from Marin Ballet and Marin Dance Theatre (Artistic Director, Margaret Swarthout). In 2009, she received her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from California Institute of the Arts (recipient of the Lew & Eddie Wasserman Merit Scholarship), where she performed in choreographic works by Glen Eddy, Laurence Blake, and Stephan Koplowitz, among others. Ashley was a member of the Next Dance Company, where she performed and had her own choreographic works commissioned at RedCat Theater in Los Angeles.
