Invest in a career of teaching. Deepen your dance education. Find your voice as a teacher. This program will be a combination of workshop training led by Annie and other professional teachers as well as in action training assisting and leading classes for the duration of RoCo’s Fall youth season.
Workshops will cover developmental strategies based on age and genre, meeting students where they are technically, class management, covering the technical foundations of class, safe teaching practices, cuing, formatting your own class, mock practice classes, and finding your personal voice as a teacher.

Plus 35 hours of teacher assisting and community service teaching starting August 28-January 21. Mon-Fri afternoons Date and times TBA based on student availability.
This program is for both dancers new to teaching or with experience. It is recommended that trainees have one of the following credentials to participate: BA or BFA dance degree, Pre-professional studio dance training and/or professional dance experience.
